Lava is actually the entry point towards Neora Valley National Park. So being a part of Himalayan flora and fauna, the vegetation in these hamlets are basically of tropical deciduous type and alpine range including pine, birch, fir etc. Animals like barking deer, Himalayan black bear etc. form the flora of the area.
Located around 101km and 124km from Siliguri respectively, Lava and Lolaygaon is easily accessible by road.
